The LGBTQ Youth Space Speakers Bureau Training

Friday, Oct. 24
5:00pm - 8:00pm

It’s that time again! The LGBTQ Youth Space is looking for new speakers to join our Speakers Bureau!

The Youth Space Speakers Bureau is a group of youth and young adults ages 13-25 who are invited to speak about their personal experiences as members of the LGBTQ and ally community in front of a variety of audiences (community organizations, youth services providers, educators, mental health professionals, foster parents, classrooms, etc…).

Being a part of the Speakers Bureau is a great way to:

-Improve your public speaking skills
-Increase visibility and raise awareness
-Educate your community
-Reduce stigma associated with LGBTQ identity
-Earn community service hours and a stipend!

Please join us for an awesome introductory training! Dinner will be provided!

This event is open to youth and young adults ages 13-25. For more info, please contact Adrienne at: akeel@fcservices.org or (408)343-7942
