AmeriCorps Presentation

Friday, Aug. 17
5:30pm - 7:00pm

Looking for more ways to get involved in social justice work? Come Join us, as we open our space to BAYAC AmeriCorps to present information on their program(s) that offers paid work experience to those interested in starting social justice work in the Bay Area. It’s a great way to get involved, as well as gain experience for future careers!

BAYAC AmeriCorps collaborates with over 20 agencies in over 70 schools and community-based organizations to serve youth and families in the San Francisco Bay Area. As part of AmeriCorps, BAYAC Members commit to a full-time (40 hours/week) term of service in the Bay Area’s most high-need communities, working to provide youth with opportunities for meaningful engagement, skill building, and emotional and social development. This is a paid work experience program for folks who are looking to advance their career working with youth in the field of education or non-profit sector.
