The LGBTQ Youth Space is partnering with the South Bay DIY Zine Collective to bring you monthly zine workshops. This is the TWELFTH workshop, wow! A group of experienced & new zinesters will discuss our zines and demonstrate zine-making processes.

WHAT’S A ZINE? How even do you pronounce the word “zine”? Why do you make zines? What are your zines about? What’s up with zine fests? Do you post your zines online? BUT FOR REAL, WHAT IS A ZINE???

Bring your stories, thoughts, ideas, etc and we’ll provide the materials!#sbDIYzc workshops will teach you how to make zines, give you the opportunity to tell your stories and ask veteran zinesters about their stories. We’ll have a different zinester each month to bring you a wide range of zine-making techniques and backgrounds.

This workshop is open to queer and trans folks and their allies, ages 13-25.
